Full Job Description

As a Sports Leader, you will be responsible for guiding and supervising a team to ensure effective and efficient performance, as well as fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. You will lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills and providing support to team members to help them achieve their goals. This role requires excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities, as well as a proactive approach to team management.,

  • Team Management: Provide leadership and direction to team members, including task assignment, scheduling, and performance management.

  • Goal Setting and Monitoring: Set clear objectives for the team and individual team members, and monitor progress towards goals, providing feedback and support as needed.

  • Training and Development: Identify training needs within the team and develop strategies to address them. Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to help them develop their skills and reach their full potential.

  • Communication: Facilitate open and effective communication within the team, ensuring that all team members are informed of relevant information and updates.

  • Problem Solving: Address any issues or conflicts that arise within the team, working collaboratively with team members to find solutions and maintain a positive working environment.

  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members, providing constructive feedback and recognition for achievements.

  • Resource Management: Manage resources effectively to ensure that the team has the necessary tools and support to carry out their responsibilities.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work carried out by the team meets quality standards and follows established procedures and guidelines.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams as needed to achieve common goals and objectives.

    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.

  • Ability to motivate and inspire team members.

  • Problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure., Sports coaching: 1 year (required)


  • Licence/Certification:
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
