Full Job Description
We are looking for people with an experience in Learning Disability support.
Provide person-centred support towards independence by providing a therapeutic, structured service consistent with individual preferences and abilities through facilitation of engagement in social interactions and community activities.
- Have proven previous experience in working with people with Learning Disability and Mental health and various complex needs
- Be reliable, friendly and caring to help our residents achieve their everyday goals (including personal care)
- Be creative and responsive in daily support while adhering to person centred care plans and individual's goals
- Be able to support in house and outside social activities and hobbies
- Be attentive and inspire our people supported to achieve more
- Be resilient and help manage some behaviours that challenge
- Be a team player and good record keeper
- Ability to carry out house-keeping and food preparation, Proven experience in Health and Social Care sector
- A person-centred approach and ability to work as a part of team
- Ability to plan for yourself and others
- Manage time effectively, prioritising workloads
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal in English
- IT literate and confident to use IT for record keeping
