Full Job Description

This is a key position that will see you lead on track maintenance and repairs. Inspection and renewals for a specific area of track. You will have a team of 20+ people that includes supervisors and a possession planner.

  • You will be an experienced railway worker whose experience will include trackside maintenance, renewals and inspection.

  • You will have good knowledge of Network Rails policies and standards, as well as possession planning and SSWOP.

  • You will have demonstrable experience of running a team of workers also.

  • This position would suit a trackside supervisor with significant experience and looking to progress or someone who is working within renewals or maintenance on railways in the UK.

  • Track Renewals and Maintenance Manager - South Wales - Permanent - £60,900 Minimum Per Annum, This position is based in Newport, Gwent in South Wales. This is a full-time permanent position and will include some weekend and night work, as the majority of the work is carried out during these quieter periods on the railways.

    The salary for this position is £60,900 and will also benefit from on-call and payments for unsocial working hours. On top of this is a range of benefits that include a generous pension scheme, holiday allowances and much more. There is also a real chance of career progression and further training within the organisation.
