Warehouse Operative

To work with the Distribution Manager to ensure the smooth running of a busy warehouse and central distribution hub.

The Role

• Loading and sorting stock


• Cutting and allocating product for daily jobs


• Taking in deliveries


• Loading fitters
  
  Ideally, we are seeking an experienced self-motivated Warehouse Operative who can anticipate issues before they arise and can use their own initiative to achieve the right outcome. In addition, the right person will;


· Ability to measure flooring accurately prior to cutting and hand measure all cuts

· A forklift truck licence is desirable but not essential

· Be physically fit - ability to lift/carry carpets and flooring packs

· Have good communication skills to build good working relationships

· Be flexible and can work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

Saint Flooring are a leading flooring contractor with branches covering most of England supplying and installing floor coverings to the new house build industry. Due to our continued growth, we require a Warehouse Operative to fill a new expansion project for our Midlands region.

Job Type: Full-time 37.75 hours a week, with extra hours as and when required.
