Weekend KP & Cleaner

Pastelle Kitchen & Events is a cool new pop-up restaurant and events business based in York. While predominantly hosting events in our intimate space off Leeman Road there will be some events off-site which will need to be attended such as weddings, corporate events and birthdays.

The successful candidate MUST be organised, clean & reliable with a positive personality and a good attitude. If you have those in abundance and you want to work in a close, fun, friendly environment get in touch with us.

The successful candidate will work on Fridays & Saturdays and the role includes the following:

- Washing up in the kitchen on prep days and during and after events

- Thoroughly cleaning the kitchen down after use

- General cleaning of the building (restaurant area, kitchen, bathroom & storage space)

- Organising the storage room and keeping tidy

- Helping prep vegetables if required

- Locking up the building and making sure everything is safe

This role includes some heavy lifting.

The successful candidate will rock up when they are scheduled to (always having a months notice). The kitchen is private but open, airy and full of fun and hard work.

WHO ARE PASTELLE?

We are a small boutique pop up restaurant, events and catering business located 1 mile out of the city centre (private parking is available on site).

Pop up restaurant - We arrange ticketed pop up restaurant evenings from our premises showcasing the best ingredients.

Events - As well as our fabulous pop up nights, we cater for all events so the successful candidate will not have to deal with the monotony of the same kitchen every day! Working closely with some of the best venues across Yorkshire, you will be required to do some travelling although any travel costs to these venues will be covered.

You will ideally have experience in the hospitality industry with excellent communication skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks.
