Full Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an individual that has the ability to work to their own initiative but also as a team player to support our Horley Depot with the maintenance and upkeep of the depot yard and equipment.

The main duties are as follows, but not limited to:

  • Conducting weekly stock checks for volume of equipment

  • Conducting daily yard checks to include the condition and cleanliness of the yard

  • Conducting daily stock checks to include the condition and cleanliness of the equipment

  • To report any anomalies or damages to stock or equipment to the Area Manager

  • Responsible for the daily upkeep of the yard

  • Responsible for maintaining and creating 'specialist' signs, ensuring that they are in good condition and of a good standard

  • Repairing equipment where possible

  • Supporting the Area Manager with admin tasks as and when required

  • Responsible for the maintenance of the batteries, ensuring that they are charged and in full working order
