Full Job Description

  • To assist our Level 2 qualified instructors deliver lessons to our high standards, creating an exceptional experience for our members.

  • Responsible for assisting in the delivery of the ASA Swim England Learn to Swim Programme.

  • Helping create a safe and fun pool environment for all of our members including parents/guardians of our child members.

  • Give assistance where necessary in the recording and documenting of each lesson, tracking member attendance and improvement.

  • Build positive relationships with members and help them achieve their swimming goals.

  • Work, support and build strong bonds with co-teachers (Level 2), assistant teachers (Level 1) and pool helpers.

  • Help improve the service, processes and procedures to build a progressive, exciting brand.

    • You also love to help make things better for everyone, and always have suggestions and ideas of ways to improve.
  • ASA Level 1 or STA Level 1 in Swimming Teaching

  • Exceptional communication skills and experience in a customer facing environment.

  • Professional and courteous to everyone you interact with - including face to face, over the phone & via email / electronic correspondence.

  • DBS checked.

    It would be great if:

  • You have the NLPQ (or would consider taking the course)

  • You are looking to gain your ASA / STA Level 2 Teaching Swimming

    This role is part time. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business but generally once you have your course(s) your timetable will be pretty well set.

    Typical lessons take place during the day and after school. Occasional early mornings or evenings. As well as weekends. We are flexible however and always try to give you hours that suit you.

    Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Freelance

    Pay: £15.00 per hour
