Beauty Tutor

Hagleys Beauty Academy are seeking a qualified and experienced Beauty Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and mentoring, along with extensive experience in the beauty therapy field. As a Beauty Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons to our students, helping them develop the practical skills and theoretical knowledge needed to succeed in the industry.

Main goals:

• Deliver structured, course-dedicated lessons.


• Assess, support and equip learners with necessary skills.


• Provide hands-on instruction and demonstration of beauty therapy techniques


• Assess student progress and performance through assignments, examinations, and practical assessments.


• Empower learners to achieve qualifications that bolster their educational and career prospects.


• Demonstrate and implement curriculum development and innovative delivery strategies.


• Conduct practical sessions with clear instructions, monitoring attendance, progress and building learner portfolios.


• Assess learner work against course criteria and maintain documentation.


• Complete paperwork accurately, prepare learners for assessments, and establish effective relationships.


• Enhance the learner experience through continual improvement and provide guidance and support.


• Contribute to company targets for retention, progression and learner achievement.


• Understand and adhere to inspection frameworks, engage in necessary training and fulfill routine tasks as needed.
  
  Teaching qualification (PTTLS, DTTLS) or equivalents.


• Enhanced DBS disclosure required.


• Engaging personality with the ability to connect with people.


• Minimum 1 year teaching experience.


• Empathetic approach and positive role modeling.


• Creativity and proactive learning approach., Teaching: 1 year (preferred)


• Beauty therapist: 2 years (preferred)


Licence/Certification:
