Full Job Description

  • Drive an armoured vehicle to transport money and valuables to a designated destination


  • Responsible for the safe transit of money and valuables during the journey


  • Load, and carry bags of cash, coin and other valuables into and from armoured vehicle at customer establishments.


  • complete vehicle check as required.


  • Complete the route as directed and as efficiently as possible


  • To check all collections and deliveries for accuracy and complete all relevant documentation.


  • To ensure all uniforms are worn correctly and all security regulations are adhered to.


  • To provide a courteous service to all customers, both internal and external to the company.


  • To undertake any training as required.


  • To carry out any other relevant duties as requested by the Line Manager to ensure the effective performance of the operation.


  • Responsible for promoting a professional image of the company and for complying with the Company's Equal Opportunities and Harassment Policy at all times including work related events which take place outside of normal working hours.


  • Promote Company values and standards and exhibit appropriate behaviour in accordance with Company Ethos.

    This role will require you to be customer focussed and hold a valid UK driver's licence.


  • Being at the front end of service delivery, collecting and delivering money and other valuables from a variety of clients and destinations, you will need to maintain good customer relations, present a professional image and ensure you adhere to our policies and procedures to ensure the safety of our employees and our clients.

    In order to work with us you will need the following:

  • a UK Driving Licence


  • Pass a criminal record check, as well as a personal credit and ID check


  • Have a 10 year employment/unemployment/educational history that we can check and verify


  • Be approved to hold an SIA licence. It would be great if you come to us with a Licence as this will automatically qualify you to the post probation rate of pay (£13.91 per hour) Probation pay rate is £12.91 per hour which will increase after successful 12 week probation. Rates of pay are currently being reviewed.
