Full Job Description

  • Working on Commercial and Residential projects.

  • Conducting Feasibility Studies: Evaluating the technical and financial viability of proposed projects.

  • Performing Flood Risk Assessments: Analyzing potential flood hazards to inform mitigation strategies.

  • Designing Drainage Systems: Developing plans for both surface and foul water drainage, including the implementation of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS).

  • Managing Pre-Planning and Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all preliminary designs meet local development regulations and standards.

  • Overseeing Private and External Works Design: Creating detailed designs for private drainage systems and external civil engineering works, such as roads and landscapes.

  • Planning and Designing Earthworks: Modifying land terrains while ensuring environmental and safety standards are met.

  • Project Management: Handling various phases of projects from conception through detailed design.

  • Consultations with Regulatory Authorities: Engaging with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and secure necessary approvals.

  • Innovative Solution Development: Applying creative and sustainable solutions in project designs to address environmental and operational challenges.

  • Preparation of Regulatory Documentation: Drafting necessary documentation for approvals related to Section 38, Section 104, Section 278, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Working with various stakeholders including clients, local councils, and environmental agencies to ensure project success.

  • Application of Technical Engineering Principles: Utilizing a strong foundation in civil and structural engineering principles to solve complex problems and develop effective design solutions.

    · 5+ years of experience working on either Residential or commercial.


  • · Section 38 experience

    · Section 104 experience

    · Flood Risk assessment experience.
