Full Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Client Manager to join our team. As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, providing them with expert guidance and ensuring their needs are met with the utmost professionalism as well as maintaining a team and reviewing/delegating work.,

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, understanding their specific needs and providing personalized advice and support.

  • Oversee the preparation and review of limited company accounts, corporation tax returns, self-assessments, payroll, VAT, bookkeeping, management accounts and compliance and other advisory services, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.

  • Manage junior members of staff to train and perform work as well as review work completed.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to add value to clients' businesses' tax efficiency and identify additional service opportunities.

  • Stay abreast of changes in UK tax laws, accounting regulations, and industry trends, and communicate relevant updates to clients to ensure compliance and minimize risk.

  • Help streamline processes so you can focus on doing the work the matters to you.

    Part qualified/Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, AAT or equivalent) with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar client-facing role within a UK accounting firm. (experience valued over qualification)

  • In-depth knowledge of FRS 105/FRS105, HMRC systems and tax legislation, with a proven track record of providing high-quality accounting and advisory services to clients.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues at all levels.

  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to analyse complex financial data and make informed recommendations.

  • Proven leadership and project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deliver results within deadlines.

  • A proactive and client-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and exceeding client expectations.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications with experience using cloud-based accounting platforms preferred (Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent).

  • Specific focused knowledge in the property accounting and tax space would be preferred., A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
