Full Job Description

Answer calls, take bookings and input them onto our operating system
- Communicate with clients and crews in a professional manner
- Support crews with queries and provide solutions
- Seek support from clinical management
- Monitoring key client requests and ensuring timely dispatch
- Taking bookings accurately and advising clients of our services
- Ensure your resource numbers are sufficient to service your clients especially during peak periods.
- Ensure all patients are collected and transported within agreed timescales
- Informing patients /clients of any delays, re-routes or issues as they occur
- Liaising with other departments as necessary
- Supporting ambulance staff with up to date directions and any specific geographic issues they may encounter.
- Allocation of journeys to Ambulance crews both digitally and verbally.
- Monitoring of public events, traffic news and road closures.

Ability to prioritise workload and respond in a quick and efficient manner
- Good computer skills

- The ability to work well under pressure
- Understand the importance of customer contact
- Strong geographical knowledge of the UK (and specifically London)
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
- Good time management
