Full Job Description

  • Managing med tech and IT hardware deployments

  • Particular focus on the intra oral scanner devices within the estate

  • Maintaining and flexing a portfolio of digital products that will deliver the strategic business benefits

  • Structuring planning and sequencing the roll out in line with business objectives and other strategic pillars Playing a fundamental role in working with the senior Leadership and business change teams



  • Stakeholder Management
  • Line management responsibility

  • Troubleshoot areas of conflict between project team members and other departmental areas

  • Managing a wide variety of stakeholders and stakeholder expectations

  • Identifies and facilitates the prioritisation of options and decisions


  • Governance and Control
  • Controlling portfolio of scanners under their remit throughout the implementation lifecycle.

  • Initiating management actions in response to project progress reports (achievement, productivity and risk)

  • Establishing appropriate best practice programme/project management techniques within their project portfolio

  • Providing reports on status and prognosis, as required by line manager and senior leadership team


  • Financial Management
  • Maintaining close working relationship with both the field and the finance team, to understand at all times the financials on all scanners within the portfolio. Maintaining and developing relevant business cases for various Digital projects.



  • Knowledge of programme/project methodology such as Prince 2 or Agile

  • Awareness of corporate, industry and professional standards in the programme/project management environment

  • Proven track record of IT Projects delivery on large multi-site estates

  • Experience
  • 3+ years working in projects/programme management, ideally in a health care, retail or multisite environment

  • Personally managed a portfolio of projects successfully Would be an advantage if worked in labs or in dental supply chains.



  • Desirable
  • Knowledge of medical tech equipment such as Intra Oral Scanners (IOS)

  • Lab processes for key treatment lines (clear aligners, dentures, implants, etc)
