Full Job Description

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be looking after a team of electricians that will be undertaking all aspects of electrical installations.,

  • Demonstrate the highest values when dealing with peers, staff, customers, and clients.

  • Safe delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality

  • Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements

  • Management and monitoring of approved specialist sub-contractors and wider supply chain partners

  • Management of operational assets prior to client hand-over

    Will have an engineering background with aligned academic and training qualifications

  • Mentor Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates and Apprentices

  • Ensure that all Health and Safety legislation and regulations are adhered to by the site teams

  • Lead the team to deliver high standards of work, quality and efficiency to meet the projects aim and targets.

  • Must have experience with qualifying supervisor duties such as preparing suitable reports

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Will have previous experience in quality assurance measures and be able to suitably manage inspection and testing plans

  • Will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able and willing to communicate effectively with colleagues and other project staff, Previous experience carrying out the electrical supervisors role in either a commercial, industrial or healthcare setting

  • SSSTS / SMSTS

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

  • C&G 2391 or 2394/5

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Excellent References

  • Minimum 5-years as fully qualified Electrician

  • Able to work under pressure and manage workload

  • Full set of hand tools including drills and basic power tools


    • Day shifts working:
  • 07:30 - 16:30 Monday - Friday, including 30 minute break

  • Facefit (essential)

  • Manual Handling (essential)

  • Working at Height (essential)

  • City & Guilds Level 3 (essential)

  • 18th Edition wiring regulations (essential)

  • SSSTS (essential)

  • SMSTS (preferred)

  • 2391 Testing (preferred)

  • IPAF Card (preferred)

  • PASMA (preferred)

  • Asbestos Awareness (preferred)

    £30.00 - £32.22 an hour - Fixed term contract
