Full Job Description

As the Facility Operations Supervisor, you will report to the Plant Manager. You will support the Plant Manager in the daily management of all activities at the site.

You will focus on supervising the plant production activities, including plant maintenance, production and administration. You will provide leadership on operational, quality and EH&S management and ensure that our daily activities are executed in the most efficient manner and in accordance with all safety, quality and service standards.

You will be involved in the safety management, budget control, resource planning and human resources management. You will also identify and execute specific productivity programs. You will always aim at achieving best in class service levels at the lowest possible cost in the production.

You will interface with the Operating Service Centre, plant maintenance, central technical, EH&S, tactical planning, asset management, customer services, scheduling and quality teams to ensure alignment on best practices and commonality of approach. Your success in this role will depend on your excellent interpersonal skills, ability to manage remotely, organisational skills, operational and technical capacity and strong leadership skills.

QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in engineering or qualifications through extensive experience in an operating environment with a proven achievement record,

  • Substantial knowledge of Air Products safety regulations and operating practices

  • Broad knowledge of employment, environmental and Health and Safety legislation

  • Good management, supervisory, organization and planning skills

  • Good interpersonal and team working skills (customers, regulator bodies, plant teams, AP contacts)

  • Strong communication skills
