Finance Manager

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our small Finance team in a varied and busy role. This is a new, pivotal role within the team.You will be fully responsible for the balances on the TB, including the analysis of actual to budget and working with budget holders to ensure transparency and understanding.

Reporting to the CFO and working alongside the whole of the finance team is integral to the role as well as with the wider business.

This is a hands-on, roll your sleeves up, Finance Manager role with responsibilities including:

• Preparation and reconciliation of the management accounts


• Month end processes and control


• Monthly and weekly variance analysis


• Preparation of monthly management accounts pack


• Working with the wider business including SLT and WLT on monthly cost centre analysis and budget control


• Finance Business partnering to all other departments


• Be the gatekeeper of the balance sheet


• UK and EU VAT


• US Sales Tax


• Intercompany transactions, reconciliation, and consolidation


• Support with the preparation of budget and forecasts


• Support the development and training of other members of the team


• Support the Financial Controller with year end and audit functions


• Support with ad hoc projects as required


• General office duties

You should be an experienced accountant with in-depth experience in all areas of Financial and Management Accounting. You should have strong IT skill with knowledge of Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills along with knowledge of accounting systems.,
