Full Job Description
- An average of 15-20 drops per day, sometimes more in peak months.
- Multi drop.
- Picking frozen, chilled and ambient goods from pallets.
- Deliveries using sack trucks.
- Completing delivery paperwork and Handheld.
- Being an ambassador for the Group by providing a great service to our customers.
- Completing deliveries in a safe and professional manner.
- Understanding and adhering to the route schedule.
- Filling in check sheets and reporting any defects.
- Informing the depot of any delivery delays or instances whilst on route
Proven ability to learn new things. We expect the successful candidate to take the initiative, ask questions, look for continuous improvement and be accountable for their actions. - Working collaboratively with others in the Bridgwater team and with key stakeholders around the business. It is important for this candidate to be able to think of the bigger picture, not just the importance of one's own agenda.
- Strong organisational, time-management and prioritisation abilities. The candidate will need to be approachable and enthusiastic. This is a fast-paced role which will compliment an individual who thrives in that environment., Full CPC qualification.
- Class 2 licence.
- Adhere to Working Time Directive laws, aware of driver's hours and tachograph regulations
- Thorough attention to detail.
- Patient and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations or adverse weather conditions.
- Safety focussed and honest.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
- Drive with care and behave responsibly.
- 2 years experience desirable but not essential.
