Full Job Description

Full training will be given on all systems and processes, but we are looking for a proactive administrator who is willing to share their own knowledge and thoughts on improvements and efficiencies.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

· Liaising with colleagues, customers, suppliers and stakeholders across the business.

· Responsible for telephone answering and dealing with queries.

· HR Administration - updating of documents, reviewing company policies in partnership with our external HR partners. Manage online and paper filing systems

· Manage sickness & holiday records, filing contracts of employment.

· Finance Administration - reconciliation, raising purchase orders, issuing invoices, dealing with any queries, setting up new clients on the system.

· Assistance in creating and maintaining relevant business documentation.

This is an all-encompassing admin role. If you are willing to learn and roll your sleeves up to make this role your own, then this is a fantastic opportunity for a well organised, self-motivated, team player., The successful candidate will ideally be:

  • Of a personable demeanour who is helpful and well presented

  • Highly articulate with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Numerate & literate, excellent with Office 365

  • Well organised, with the ability to multitask and prioritise work load

  • Hold a keen eye for detail

  • Able to work under their own initiative, as well as part of a team with the skills to coordinate and liaise between departments where appropriate

  • Have a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and administration skills, 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English


  • Degree or equivalent in Accountancy or Business Management

    Skills

    Experience of using Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word, Powerpoint and other commonly used office packages

    Strong IT and typing Skills

    Work Experience

    At least 2 years' experience of working in an Administration role.

    Understanding of Employment Law

  • Leeds City Centre Hotel

    15 to 20 hours per week. £12.50 per hour

They pride themselves on excellent customer service, running a well-organised establishment and looking after team members, most of whom boast long service with the business. Located in the heart of Leeds City Centre, this role will be based on site and offers excellent transport links to and from work.
