Full Job Description
- Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including liaising with shared service regarding accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Liaise with the Shared Service regarding expense claims and assist with first approvals.
- Assist with month-end closing processes, including journal entries and financial statement preparation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with the implementation of expenses software or processes as needed.
- Provide support during audits and tax preparation activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices within the accounting department., This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 3 months. The interim accountant will report to the Finance Manager and work closely with the shared service who perform the main accounting tasks.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Part qualified or qualified accountant with a few years of experience in accounting roles, with demonstrated proficiency in general accounting principles and practices.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proven ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
