Lead Instructor (Watersports)

Scout adventures exists to provide safe spaces for young people to take part in adventures which challenge and inspire them. At the heart of what we do is the Scout method - with experiences built around team work, spending time outdoors, camping, leadership and taking responsibility for yourself, each other and the environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to progress with their outdoor career. Hawkhirst provides opportunities to develop in managing and training our team of seasonal and international volunteer instructors. Looking at all aspects pf the centre including the planning and preparation of the team and centre for group arrivals.

This role is to support and mentor the team and is all about planning, preparation and ensuring quality of sessions delivered to young people on centre. This encompasses delivery of training, support on centre and programming.
