Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Local Business Manager to join our Sales Team in Kirton near Boston. As our LBM, you will be promoting fleet and business vehicles to local businesses and promoting a 'whole life' experience for our clients where we deliver the vehicle and maintain it. This role is all about building relationships and acquiring customers for life. Every vehicle on the road is a potential customer, and as our LBDM, we will be looking to you to create relationships with local businesses. You will be expected to be out in the field focusing on fleets of all shapes and sizes in the SME market, generating your own leads and engaging with potential customers across our area. You will develop a detailed understanding of the local market. You will have the ability to open doors, start conversations and build relationships based on truly understanding what is important to the businesses in your area, and showing them how they can work together with Duckworth to
create a first-class fleet solution.

You will be expected to get involved with local business organisations such as the Chamber of Commerce, networking opportunities and will be comfortable in presenting and representing Duckworth at such meetings. JLR survey our customers and our expectation will be for the highest of Customer Satisfaction scores.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyse and develop new customer relationships, managing to inspire new clients for our group.

  • You will be responsible for customer satisfaction in line with Duckworth business ethics.

  • You will record and maintain customer data within our CRM tools ensuring a high standard of accuracy.

  • You will achieve and exceed the sales targets set by the business.

    Proven experience in Sales, preferably in the automotive industry with a focus on new business development.

  • You are confident on all levels, and work in a structured and independent manner.

  • Self-motivated and able to generate your own leads and convert those leads into trading accounts.

  • You have very good knowledge of sales and finance solutions.

  • Excellent account management and relationship-building skills.

    Duckworth is a family-owned business, established in Lincolnshire with over 40 years of experience in the automotive industry. We are an official Jaguar Land Rover and Isuzu Franchise, operating over 3 sites in the county.
