Full Job Description

We are seeking skilled Vehicle Panel Technicians to become a part of our dynamic team at our cutting-edge bodyshop located in Birmingham/Solihull. This role offers the chance to work on a range of prestigious vehicles, including supercars, electric, and hybrid models, in a state-of-the-art facility.,

  • Perform repairs and panel replacements on a variety of vehicles, specializing in prestige, supercar, electric, and hybrid models.

  • Thoroughly understand and adhere to manufacturer-specific vehicle repair guidelines.

  • Utilise appropriate tools, equipment, and repair methods as prescribed by manufacturers.

  • Proficiently use welding, riveting equipment, and vehicle jig systems.

  • Identify and report any additional damage to the Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) and/or Workshop Controller.

  • Manage the ordering of any necessary additional parts.

  • Conduct quality inspections upon job completion to ensure the absence of defects.

  • Maintain compliance with all health and safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean work environment.

    A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Panel Technician in the automotive repair industry.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of the vehicle repair industry, with a willingness to learn new techniques and processes. Ongoing training will be provided as needed.

  • Familiarity with computer-based systems, such as EMACS.

  • Understanding of electric vehicles, ultra-high strength steels, and their respective repair methods.

  • Demonstrated ability to complete work with meticulous attention to detail and to manufacturer standards.

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage workload effectively.

  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills., A.T.A. Certification.

  • M.E.T. Certification.

  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
