Full Job Description

In your role as a Mental Health Social Worker, you'll foster effective collaboration with a diverse team of professionals dedicated to supporting individual young people with complex needs. Working closely with the Tier 3.5 Clinical and Social teams, you'll play a key role in delivering tailored Mental Health Therapeutic Interventions to maximize positive outcomes for our young people.,

  • Work alongside a team of professional supporting the young people in our Tier 3.5 Service.

  • Provide direct therapeutic intervention support to the young people and their families.

  • Work to understand their needs and how best to meet them, while promoting self-esteem, independence, resilience, and positive mental health.

  • Ensure all intervention and care plans are up to date and effectively shared with the Multidisciplinary Team.

  • Work alongside Clinical Leads, you will together contribute to the effectiveness of both the Clinical and Social

  • Assist with the development and implementation of Multi-Agency Support Plans, Behaviour Analysis reports, Risk Assessments, and Care Plans.

  • Ensure that the processes within the organisation are effective and that all policies are followed by staff, agency staff, contractors, and volunteers collaboratively, working together as a team.

  • Work positively and support where required with the rota management system to ensure it is effectively utilised by all and in line with the needs of the young person.

  • Support with the coordination of tasks, events, and workload allocation via an internal CRM management system, recording software and training platforms., Are you able to work alongside Clinical Leads to contribute to the effectiveness of both Clinical and Social Teams?

    Excellent communication skills - both written and spoken

  • Good people skills and an ability to form and maintain positive relationships.

  • Be approachable and reflective with a positive solution focused approach.

  • Have a passion for working with children and young people and supporting the learning of others. This will be evident in your approach and enthusiasm for your work.

  • Have the ability to balance perspectives and politely challenge professionals in a Multidisciplinary Teams arena whilst maintaining positive relationships with them. Always ensuring the young person's and their family's best interests are at the centre of everything we do.

  • Social Work qualification with valid registration to Social Work England

  • Experience in a similar role, Do you have experience working alongside a team of professionals to support young people in Tier 3.5 services?

    28 days annual leave including bank holidays, increasing to 33 days including bank holidays with long service
