Full Job Description

Whether it's regular Full Truck Loads (FTLs) from A to B, imports and exports, or express vans delivering to multiple locations, we have the experience, equipment and network to support our customers.

You will be working within a fast-paced environment and responsible for delivering excellent service and out of hour solutions to several key accounts across the organisation. You will be trusted to maintain each of these customer accounts ensuring that all SLA & SOP set from the individuals depots are adhered to 100% of the time.

You will be trusted to ensure current activities are on schedule by conducting handover meetings with account management teams from all depots at the start and end of every shift.

You will be responsible for ensuring all loads are delivered within the correct times specified by customer and account managers. Ensuring that you correctly monitor each load, updating monitoring notes, GBA computer systems assessing driver and vehicle availability and alerting Customer Account Managers to any issues which may prevent their load meeting the customers' expectations.

  • Proficient in the use of IT systems but full training will be provided with all inhouse systems.

  • Good knowledge external systems - Outlook and Excel


  • Experienced working within a transport setting

  • Knowledgeable of UK /EU driving hours laws and restrictions

  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team - sound judgement when dealing with enquiries.

  • Be able to plan and organise your and others time and workload
