Full Job Description

Le Bouchon is looking for a keen, enthuastic pastry chef to work on the pastry section, alongside our Junior sous chef.

The candidate should be eager to learn and develop their pastry skills, have good time management, adhere to kitchen protocol and hygiene procedures.

There will be full and consistent training from our senior chefs.

We pride ourselves on working with fresh produce and making everything in house. We are a classic french restaurant which is a staple of most pastry dishes, and therefore a great place to learn the basics and also develop more intricate techniques.

The business is always progressing and aiming for the best standards possible and any new members should contribute to that goal.

The working week will be split between 3 double shifts and either 2 early or late shifts.

We work on a 6 day trade Tuesday - Sunday so the candidate must be flexible and available throughout theses days. Unless local, driving would be recommended for the location of the business.
