Pest Technician (Proofing & Hygiene)

The role is managing pest risk on our growing list of clients sites ranging from initial surveys, carrying out treatment plans, installing proofing measures and carrying out habitat management.

The role will provide development opportunities in the future with career paths including Sales surveyor and Operations Management.

The role is full time Mon - Fri with occasional nightshifts required.

Responsibilities:
- Perform pest control treatments commercial properties (some domestic work may be required)
- Inspect premises for signs of pests and determine the appropriate treatment plan
- Identify pest infestations, including insects, rodents, and other pests
- Provide recommendations to manage future pest risk.
- Communicate with customers to explain the treatment process and address any concerns or questions, Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may be required to perform other duties as assigned by management.

BPCA/RSPH Level 2 in pest management is desired but training can be provided to the right candidate.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in pest control or related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of different types of pests and their behaviors
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
