Full Job Description

  • Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Play Worker to join our team. The Play Worker will be responsible for organizing and supervising play activities for children in a safe and stimulating environment. Responsibilities: - Plan and implement creative play activities for children - Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care - Engage with children in a positive and nurturing manner - Maintain a clean and organized play area - Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues - Manage any behavioral issues that may arise during playtime - Drive initiatives that promote learning through play - Provide leadership and guidance to children during activities Skills: - Experience in childcare or nursery settings - Ability to work with children of various ages - Proficiency in English language - Knowledge of early childhood education principles - Strong communication skills to interact with children and adults effectively - Ability to manage

    • multiple tasks efficiently - Valid driver's license for potential transportation needs - Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding children during play activities This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about working with children to create a fun and engaging play environment. Overtime available upon request - Monday to Friday.

    Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

    Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred), Nursery: 1 year (preferred)

  • Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)

  • Childcare: 1 year (required)

  • Management: 1 year (required)
