Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations at Lilbourne Court Nursing Home. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and managing the daily activities of our nursing home, ensuring the highest level of care for our residents. This 36 bedded Nursing Home has recently been built and has been designed to accommodate palliative care residents as well as those with nursing requirements. The home caters for both adults over 65 yrs and under 65 yrs, Dementia, Mental health conditions, Physical disabilities, Sensory impairments.

We are looking for a registered manager to lead the clinical and non-clinical team, creating an environment that promotes dignity and independence, striving for excellence through the highest standards of care. The right candidate will be pragmatic in their approach and be able to balance running a caring and empathetic service alongside achieving business results, in line with the company's policies and procedures.

What will you be doing?

As Home Manager, you will coordinate and oversee the day to day running of the home, ensuring a cost-effective and efficient service that doesn't compromise on quality of care or life:

· Supervise and manage all aspects of the care facility, including staff, residents, and operations

· Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards

· Implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents

· Oversee the delivery of high-quality care services, including dementia care, medication administration, and home care

· Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and develop individualized care plans

· Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medical care for residents

· Manage staffing levels, including safe recruitment, training, and rota

· Maintain compliance and audit systems

· Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care and facility operations

· Ensuring a safe service is delivered to our service users at all times

· Develop links with local authorities and other outside organisations

· Foster a positive working environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth

· Willingness to undertake CQC registration to act as the Register manager - essential

Proven experience in a managerial role within the healthcare industry, preferably a Minimum two years in a management capacity as a Registered Manager

· Registered Nurse qualified with an active NMC Pin - desirable

· Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health and Social Care (or the equivalent)

· Strong knowledge of regulations, standards and CQC compliance related to nursing care facilities

· Experience in nursing care, dementia care, younger adults care and medication administration is highly desirable

· Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities

· IT skills for documentation purposes
