Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Duty Manager to oversee our dining establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and possess strong leadership skills to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant., Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant
- Ensure high-quality food and excellent customer service
- Supervise staff and provide training as needed
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, The successful candidate will work with the General Manager and Front of House Team, in our West Didsbury branch, to prepare the restaurant for service and champion consistency of product, and service, in their absence. It is their duty to see that the restaurant and bar areas are fully prepared and maintained in line with company standards and to ultimately ensure that we EXCEED EXPECTATIONS ALWAYS!

  • Be accountable for the restaurant in the absence of the General Manager or another Front of House (FOH) Manager.

  • General:

  • To attend work when required by checking the rota on a regular basis.

  • To adhere to Health & Safety, Fire, Food Safety and licensing regulations at all times.

  • To notify the manager on duty of any accidents.

  • To continuously improve the quality of the restaurant's operating standards

    Previous experience in the restaurant industry, including bartending, cooking, or hospitality roles

  • - Proficiency in food preparation techniques and food safety standards
    - Strong team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
    - Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations
    - Leadership qualities to drive success in a fast-paced environment,
  • Supervising experience: 1 year (preferred)

  • Restaurant management: 1 year (preferred)

  • Bar management: 1 year (preferred)

  • Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)

  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

  • Management: 1 year (preferred)


  • Licence/Certification:
  • Driving Licence (preferred), Supervising experience: 1 year (preferred)

  • Restaurant management: 1 year (preferred)

  • Bar management: 1 year (preferred)

  • Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
