Full Job Description

  • Investigating, recommending and implementing both tactical and strategic objectives

  • Reporting on business trends and identifying opportunities for improving poorly performing customers, products and channels

  • Working with stakeholders across the business, primarily Supplier Relationship Management, Operations, Sales and Product to agree and drive activities to improve margin

  • Identifying and championing new opportunities to drive margin performance

  • Producing a monthly margin performance review to update the Board on margin performance

  • Measuring the impact of foreign currency exchange rate fluctuations on margin performance

  • Undertaking a bi-annual pricing review, presenting recommendations for change and expected results

  • Holding a monthly Gross Margin meeting with key stakeholders

    We have a brand-new opportunity for a Revenue Manager to join our Finance Team. You will be responsible for achieving the margin budget through a combination of detailed reporting and analysis, collaborating with stakeholders to drive objectives and measuring and reporting on the subsequent results. The successful candidate will have a detailed understanding of the business activities which cause margin variance, and previous experience of working with stakeholders across a business to drive initiatives in line with business goals is essential., To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Experience working in a number-oriented and target-driven role, working with multiple stakeholders ideally in a corporate travel environment

  • Strong people skills with a history of positively driving improvement/change

  • Highly numerate with the ability to easily identify trends and grasp new concepts

  • Approachable, collaborative, professional and results oriented

  • Significant commercial acumen

  • Proven record of achieving results, identifying and maximising commercial opportunities

  • High level of IT and systems competency
