Full Job Description

The Routing Operator has the responsibility of ensuring workflows through the Routing department and jobs are taken to the next operation in line with production requirements.

  • Carry out first off, FAIRS and batch inspections daily.

  • Machining parts for aircraft to meet customer requirements/specifications.

  • Routing parts in accordance with industry standards and processes.

  • Undertaking Routing tasks delegated by the Senior Cell Leader, Team Leader &/or Senior Management.

  • Ensuring own performance within the Routing team is of a high standard whilst meeting production targets and deadlines.

  • Use Personal Protective Equipment, monitor and maintain health and safety standards.

  • The post-holder must be able to work within an industrial environment.

  • Can plan and organise workload

  • Key Focus on Quality and continuous improvement

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
