Boongate Kia are a family owned and run business in Peterborough established for 25 years with our franchise partner, Kia. With our continued success in both sales and aftersales we are a busy growing dealership and are looking for a Sales Advisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing automotive brands in the UK, known for its progressive product and industry leading 7 Year Warranty.

The Sales team form an important role in our business. They have a wealth of experience of Kia's products and deliver a high level of performance and customer satisfaction. The successful applicant will support the team and quickly contribute to our continued success.

Key role and responsibilities

  • Taking new enquiries and generating appointments

  • Greeting customers to the business and listening to their requirements

  • Consulting customers to make appropriate recommendations of our cars, products and services

  • Process orders for new and used cars

  • Offer and arrange appropriate finance and insurance products

  • Effectively manage timescales and provide constant communication with our customers to keep them informed at every step of the buying process

  • Handover vehicles to our customers delivering a personalised and memorable experience

  • Deliver Family like Care in every customer experience

    Relevant experience and qualifications required

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar customer facing role essential

  • Full driver's license, Up to date computer skills are essential

  • Numeracy, and literacy skills are essential

  • Outstanding communication skills are essential

  • A smart and well-presented appearance is essential

  • Must be highly self-motivated and organised

  • The ability to work under pressure and actively seek solutions

  • The ability to deliver high standards of customer care always

  • The ability to work as part of a team

  • To desire to maximise sales and profitability

  • To ensure our company ethos of professionalism and Family Like Care Service is delivered at all times

  • To work in a safe and considerate manor and adhere to all health and safety requirements, Customer service: 2 years (required)

  • Working hours

    Monday to Friday 8.30 to 18.00 with half hour for lunch.

    A scheduled day off between Monday - Friday every week.

    Weekend Rota which involves working 3 in 5 weekends.

    Saturdays 8.30 to 17.00

    Sunday 11.00 to 16.00

    Salary negotiable depending on experience. On target earnings will vary subject to your experience and drive to succeed.
