Full Job Description

The Sales Specialist is responsible for aligning closely with the Account Management function to build strategic sales plans, build strong relationships with customers, develop pipelines, and successfully achieve vertical sales targets.

As a Voice UC Specialist you'll be responsible for significantly increasing BT's Voice service revenues within the corporate vertical you'll support. Your key focus will be acquiring new BT Voice services from your accounts displacing competitor services.

What you'll be doing

  • Manages, delivers, and exceeds all sales targets, based on SOVGM and total revenue for a defined based of customers across the region.

  • Builds solutions that meet and exceed customers business needs, delivering RoI and that are most profitably built for BT.

  • Maintains Voice and Unified Communications knowledge and have opinions on leading and emerging technologies, using this to influence both customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Creates a pipeline three times the size of SOVGM target to ensure correct cover.

  • Successfully develops and drives sales plans with Account Managers, using agreed methodologies, to retain existing BT business and develop and grow new revenue for BT.

  • Works with finance and pricing to understand the P&L in detail for the customer solutions being sold to ensure margins on all deals are maximised and component pricing parameters are aligned to market expectations.

    A proven track record of delivering against targets within a sales role and the ability to plan, forecast and report against sales plans and targets.

  • Familiarity with Cloud Voice services e.g. UCaaS and CCaaS

  • Excellent financial and commercial acumen.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at board level to strategically position BT, its offering and competitive advantage.
