Security Officer

MAN Commercial Protection are looking for a Night Security Officer located in Doncaster

Shift pattern will consist of the following hours: 4 on 4 off 12-hour night shift.

Shift timings will be: 17:30-05:30.

MAN Commercial are a family run business, now in our 31st year. With our Head Office and Training Academy based in Solihull, West Midlands, we employ Security Officers throughout the UK and specialise in security guarding, loss prevention, CCTV and keyholding services.

Applicants should have security experience preferably on a distribution site, be smart in appearance with a professional attitude, have excellent customer service skills, excellent punctuality & attendance, be observant, able to complete comprehensive incident reports, have a drive to ensure the job is completed to the highest standards and have the ability to work unsupervised and his/her own transport to get to work.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

• Booking in & out of visitors and vehicles.


• Greet visitors and ensure relevant security procedures are carried out


• Write accurate incident reports in a timely manner and provide visible high-profile security presence.


• Knowledge of security systems including life safety systems


• Check alarms and log information.


• Respond to and deal with all site incidents and emergencies


• Patrolling of premises
  
  You must be able to work on your own initiative


• Full 5-year checkable work/education history


• Valid SIA SG or DS


• Full Driving licence
  
  £11.90 an hour - Permanent, Full-time, Full uniform supplied
