Full Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen within Amulet for a Weekend Day Security Officer who will work at our client's site. We are looking for a dedicated officer to join our team! We are looking for a talented and committed individual to deliver a high level of customer service to both the client and the customers. This is a full-time weekend role working 24 hours per week. The duties will be as follows:

  • To ensure the safety and security of the staff and assets on site

  • Control access on site

  • Complete reports for the client and contractors

  • Effective communications, including meetings, briefings and debriefs.

  • Ensure Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, Churchill Group and client Health & Safety policies and other control measures are adhered to.

  • Ensure the highest levels of customer service are maintained by the security team at all times.

  • Supervise and take the lead on all site security issues, including incidents, accidents, emergencies, and evacuations, supporting and advising members of the security team and client representatives.

  • Actively and effectively patrol using the planned routes, answer alarms and investigate disturbances, take appropriate action and submit appropriate reports.

  • Manage and maintain the reception, post room, alarm systems, CCTV/equipment, access/egress control and other contracted security services as required.

  • Liaise with the client, building effective working relationships with management, staff, contractors, site tenants and their representatives, to ensure smooth running of the contract.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve site issues in an efficient and consistent way in accordance with company policy, escalating to Amulet Line Manager as appropriate

    You are capable of problem-solving, dealing with a variety of situations and are very customer service-focused.

  • You have evidence of strong organizational and time management skills.

  • You can demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.

  • You are vigilant and take a "can do" approach and attitude to all tasks.

  • You are computer literate, with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office applications


  • Licence Requirements:
  • Possession of a SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor licence is essential.

  • In addition, a SIA CCTV Operator licence is desirable.

  • First Aid qualification is essential, security: 1 year (preferred)

  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

  • SIA DS or SG (required)

  • First aid at work (required)
