Senior MI Analyst

The main objective of the role will be to work within the Data Analytics department

to deliver reports and actionable insights to drive the business forward and work

closely with the business leaders to implement and drive process improvements

across the organisation. Please note that this is a month end driven role.

Principal Responsibilities and Duties

• Production and delivery of a series of dashboards and reporting to provide daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly view of functional performance against a standard set of metrics and KPIs.


• Ability to actively engage with stakeholders/clients, deliver their expectations and ensure that all reports are produce and delivered accurately and in a timely manner.


• Analyse data accuracy and relevance and ensure data integrity of reports from various data sources.


• Ability to develop processes and procedures to create efficiency, accuracy and robust collection and presentation of data


• Create new reports by gathering requirements from key stakeholders/clients and collaborating with other team members to determine optimal data sources and formats.


• Work with business leaders to drive process improvements across the organisation.


• Analysing and interpreting data and providing engaging and actionable insights.


• Maintaining and developing data information, data extraction and data uploading tools.
  
  A numerical degree or equivalent


• Excellent reporting and data analytics skills with 3 or more years' experience in a similar role.


• Taking a logical and methodical approach with strong problem-solving abilities


• Able to interpret and analyse different data sets.


• A highly analytical and numerical individual with a high-level attention to detail


• Good people skills and able to work within a busy environment.


• Able to work to strict deadlines.


• Excellent communications skills in English both written and verbal


• Proactive and self-motivated approach


• Strong Excel skills


• Good SQL skills


• Commercial reporting experience


• Understanding of BI tools (e.g. Qlik Sense, Power BI etc.) is desirable.


• Understanding of Access Database is desirable.
