Full Job Description

Working on a busy service reception at a main dealer, greeting and booking in customers, in person or by telephone. Ensure that the reception of customers is well prepared by drawing up a repair order 48 hours in advance of their arrival, complete with any supporting documentation.

  • Ensure that all repair orders are passed to the parts department for pre-picking of all necessary parts 48 hours in advance of the booking. To ensure that customers requirements are fully understood and communicated to the technicians, arranging direct contact where necessary (rattles, squeaks etc) To communicate any changes/delays in time scales to customers.Ensure that relevant service documentation, including the service booklet and invoice are ready and available for customers upon vehicle collection.Ensure that method of payment is discussed and agreed by customer prior to any work being carried out. Ensure the customer's opt in & out of marketing is updated on the DMS system TCF: To be

  • aware and remain within industry benchmarks for good quality customer outcomes, in particular, complaints, cancellations & early settlements.
  • Keep constantly aware of work in progress and liase with Workshop Controller,At month end ensure that all invoices are fully costed including warranty processed to the relevant manufacturer. To refer an unresolvable complaints to the Aftersales Manager. Obtain authority from the customer to carry out extra work.
