Full Job Description

Oversee the operation and maintenance of plant equipment and systems
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs with maintenance staff
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise plant processes and improve efficiency

· To carry out routine preventative maintenance (Electrical and Mechanical) on waste water systems at customer sites

· To identify faults, carry out repairs or provide information for remedial work

· To carry out refurbishments of waste water systems

· To produce detailed summaries of the work carried out

· To obtain signatures from customers of works completed

· To prioritise work effectively

· To communicate effectively with schedulers on work progress

· To attend team meetings

As a plant & pump Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the development of our treatment plant maintenance contracts and service plans. You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of equipment, implementing preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting issues, and optimising plant processes. Your mechanical knowledge and ability to perform heavy lifting will be essential in carrying out your responsibilities effectively.
