Specialty Doctor Cardiology

Please see attached Job Description The Specialty Doctor will play an integral part and assist with general cardiology clinics, providing and auditing rapid access Chest Pain Clinics for patients with new onset angina under the direction of the Consultant Cardiologists. It is envisaged that the Specialty Doctor Cardiologist will play a significant role in the risk stratification and management of patients admitted with acute coronary syndromes. These patients are currently admitted to the acute medical unit (AMU) but improved pathways of care have been identified as a priority, and the opportunity exists to make a major contribution to these new developments.
