Staff Nurse Chronic Pain Management

We are looking for a staff nurse to join our expanding chronic pain team working in clinic and in theatre, delivering treatments to patients. The successful candidate will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team and effectively coordinate and deliver an expert nursing service within this specialised area, developing evidence-based nursing care and providing clinical leadership through effective monitoring and implementation of standards., Responsible for the assessment of patients' care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of patient care.

Participates in team leadership and the management of the department, including supervision and delegation of work to junior staff, as directed by the department manager.

Participates in teaching, mentoring and assessing students, trainees and professional staff.

To work as a member of the multidisciplinary team, practicing a high standard of clinical care and participating in all activities of the Pain Management Service to enhance the patient's experience, enhanced patient safety and outcomes.
