Full Job Description

Our teams provide individualised care and support for people with learning disabilities, autistic people and people with physical disabilities living in their community. At Foxdown, our 6-bedroom service in Paley Street, we recognise that each person has unique interests, needs and preferences. We support customers to be as self-sufficient as possible and work closely with them and their support networks to explore options to help them reach their goals.

We are recruiting for full-time support workers to cover a mix of mornings, afternoons and long days

Unless local, this role would be best suited for people with access to their own transport due to the location and limited public transport services.

Experience in the care sector would be beneficial but is not necessary as full training will provided. Your role will be to support our customers in their day-to-day lives and could include assistance with personal care, managing medication, shopping and meal preparation, and supporting with emotional and physical wellbeing. We also provide support with life skills such as improving confidence, managing finances and being part of the local community to maintain important relationships.
