Team Leader (Room Leader) Nursery

We have an exciting vacancy become available for the position of Team Leader for our under 2's. We are looking for a candidate who either are currently in a leadership or management role or are looking for a new challenge.

The working hours are 40 hours over 4 or 5 days per week. We will consider flexible working hours depending on circumstances and agreement and will consider 37,38 and 40 hours per week working patterns.

We are open 51 weeks per year and close over the Christmas period and all Bank holidays.

The main responsibilities include;

• Managing and leading a small staff team.


• Working in partnership with parents / carers.


• Communicating with parents via online app as well as verbal feedback, ensuring effective information sharing and communication.


• Planning and preparing a variety of activities based on children's interests, providing high quality teaching and learning experiences.


• Completing assessments and overseeing staff documentation.


• Working together with leadership and management team to provide the best quality childcare and support smooth running of the nursery.


• Responsible of managing room provision and creating enabling environment.


• Mentoring staff team and supporting colleagues.


• Safeguarding all children.


We expect candidates to have good safeguarding knowledge.

Preferably Paediatric first aid qualified. We provide inhouse and external training to support personal and professional development.
