This is a part-time, term-time role, but we can be flexible about the number of hours work across the academic year.

There is a regular requirement for evening work ( approximately 5 evenings per academic term) due to the Academy Quality Council meeting cycle each term, which can be supported through flexible working hours., The Prospect Trust takes the control and processing of employee data very seriously

Prior to the interview, an online search will be conducted by HR, to identify any past or current incidents or issues that might affect your suitability to work with children and undertake this role. Please note this online search will be carried out only on publicly available information and be limited to issues relating to your suitability to work with children and/or in an educational environment. Issues that arise will not automatically be a bar to your employment at the Trust but may be discussed with you at interview. This is in line with statutory guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education.

We are seeking a highly organised individual to advise and work with a team of motivated governance volunteers and executive professionals. You will be able to demonstrate:

  • The ability to proactively identify and manage governance issues within a regulated environment;

  • Experience of working within a governance role, ideally within education or the public sector, and interpreting procedural guidelines;

  • Preparing accurate minutes and proofreading documentation for a variety of stakeholders;

  • A willingness to work closely with senior Trust executives and governance volunteers, with the ability to manage competing priorities;

  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate reporting of governance information;

  • High professional standards and personal integrity.
