Full Job Description

· Operating lorry crane and equipment within Health and Safety guidelines.

· Protecting and securing loads as appropriate to ensure safe and damage free transit.

· Delivering and collecting materials as instructed, ensuring a prompt and accurate delivery completing documentation accurately.

· Collecting payments and handling cash within Company guidelines.

· Planning suitable routes having due regard for safe access, weight, height and width restrictions.

· Maintaining good customer relations.

· Maintaining the vehicle in a clean and tidy condition.

We have an exciting opportunity to join the team at our branch in Shotton. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills who wants to work in a busy and varied role, providing excellent customer service., · Previous warehousing experience, ideally from a merchant background.

· Experience with multi-drop deliveries.

· Excellent organisation skills.

· The ability to be adaptable, resilient and able to respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Fork lift truck licence, although full training can be provided.

· Class 2 HGV licence with CPC, to provide cover as a relief driver. We are also interested to hear from candidates who would be interested in gaining their HGV licence as full training can be provided.

· HIAB experience (preferable),

  • Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

  • Driving: 1 year (preferred)

  • HIAB: 1 year (preferred)


  • Licence/Certification:
  • Full UK Driving Licence (required)

  • Fork Lift Truck Licence (preferred)

  • Class 2 HGV Licence with CPC (preferred)
