Warehouse Operative

To ensure warehouse activities are performed in a timely manner to meet the business objectives.

- Assembly of LPG products to minimum stock quantities

- Packing products into display packs

- Writing and maintaining correct SOP's (Sales Operation Procedures)

- Monitoring and weekly reporting on assembled products and stock levels

- Preparation for incoming goods. I.E: Clearing shelves, organising space

- Unloading and checking GRN's

- Double checking to ensure correct quantities dispatched

- Advising the office of any health and safety issues

- Assist in maintaining a clean and organised warehouse space.

- Holiday / Absence cover for other operatives when required. Assisting in the cover of picking and packing orders, answering the telephone, dealing with customers face -to- face at reception and processing cash or credit card payments

Prior experience in a warehouse setting

- Good PC Literacy

- Manual dexterity for assembly small parts and components

- Good maths skills

- The ability to follow instructions

- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

• Desirable Skills:


- Experience in customer service, including telephone and email skills

- An understanding of sales processes and procedures

- LPG product knowledge

- Forklift Licence
