Full Job Description

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our warehouse team based out our Hamshall site in Coleshill, covering our late shift.

How you will contribute

  • Effective communication with customer and suppliers

  • Controlling and monitoring warehouse processes

  • Monitoring and controlling work processes, as well as Health & Safety equipment and use.

  • Ensure recording of all accidents / incidents and completion of all relevant documentation

  • Ensuring order and cleanliness in areas of responsibility

  • Ensuring compliance with SSOW and best practice

  • Sickness / absence monitoring including return to work interviews.

  • Performance management of staff

  • Daily recording of all necessary information relating to warehouse activities

  • Carrying out Fire Marshal / sweeper process for Fire Evacuations, complete roll call on timesheet.

  • Recognise and implement opportunities to use energy more efficiently and promote energy saving initiatives within area of responsibility.

  • Champion Equality and Diversity within the warehouse

  • Loading/ Unloading Vehicles using a Counterbalance FLT

  • Quality and Control checks

    At least 1 + years' experience as a team leader within an operational warehouse environment

  • FLT license

  • Knowledge of legal and statutory requirements within a warehouse environment

  • Intermediate IT skills, specifically with SAP systems and Microsoft packages

  • Flexibility and the willingness to work additional hours to meet the demands of the role


  • Desirable
  • Experience in the logistics or automotive industry.

  • External/In House Team Leading training and qualifications
