It's the job of our Hygiene Operator's to carry out scheduled and specialist cleaning across site and production areas, including production equipment internally and externally as required. Reporting directly to the Hygiene Manager / Hygiene Team Leader.

You will also :

Carry out scheduled and non-scheduled cleaning tasks to the fabric of the buildings and associated equipment

Carry out specialised cleaning tasks, using some hazardous substances and act on instructions given by the Manager/ Charge hand in accordance with the company's safety procedures

Follow safe use and storage of hazardous substances in line with company policy

Use and operate cleaning equipment and cleaning tools, including UHP water jetting machine.

Ensures that all personal protective equipment is maintained in good condition, i.e. safety clothing, eye protection, face visors, gloves, footwear, headgear etc.

Ensure your own personal safety and that of all personal including others who may be affected by the Company's activities

Challenge unsafe behaviours

Adhere to the duties required for your role within the Health and Safety policy

Promote and enforce behaviours and actions that will prevent all contamination threats to products whether physical, microbial or chemical

Escalate immediately reporting on the status of any non-compliance in the system or process to management for counter measure or immediate remedy
